The Student subcategories recognize the incredible contributions of student-run organizations and initiatives across scholarly publishing. These categories highlight emerging voices in the industry and celebrate their creativity, innovation, and commitment to advancing scholarly communication.
Key Subcategories
- Student Journal – Research: Honors student-led journals publishing original research, reviews, or scholarly articles that advance knowledge in various academic disciplines.
- Student Journal – Literary: Recognizes student-run journals showcasing creative writing, poetry, essays, and other literary works, providing a platform for emerging literary talent.
- Student Publication Media Project: Highlights media projects created by students, including videos, podcasts, or multimedia initiatives, designed to promote scholarly content or engage academic audiences.
- Student Publication Marketing Campaign: Celebrates student-led marketing efforts promoting scholarly publications, events, or initiatives using innovative strategies across digital and print media.
- Student Publication Continuity Plan: Acknowledges student organizations that develop sustainable strategies to ensure the long-term success of their publications through leadership transitions, funding, and future planning.
Eligibility & Submission Details
Student subcategories are open to student organizations, student-run publications, and student editorial staff involved in scholarly publishing. Eligible projects must have been launched, produced, or active between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024.
