SSP offers a variety of career development resources for students, early-career professionals, and experienced publishing staff. These include the job board, mentorship opportunities, fellowship program, webinars, networking events, and educational programs like the Journals Academy and Leadership Academy.
SSP’s Mentorship Program is open to SSP members at all career levels. Participants are paired based on shared goals and complementary experience, with mentors and mentees expected to meet regularly over a six-month period. The program is designed to support professional development, networking, and career growth within scholarly publishing.
The SSP Fellowship Program supports students and early-career professionals interested in scholarly communications. Fellows receive mentorship, networking opportunities, professional development support, and complimentary SSP membership. Fellows also participate in SSP committees and present collaborative projects at the SSP Annual Meeting.
