Summer Outing to Canobie Lake Park

Friday, August 21, 2026
3:00 pm (Park closes at 10:00 pm)

Need a break from the office? Whether you’re a remote worker who longs for an old-fashioned summer office outing or just want to try a unique social activity in an informal setting, we’ve got the event for you! SSP’s Boston Regional Group is planning a field trip to Canobie Lake Park on August 21. Founded in the late 1800s when the first trolleys ran in Salem, NH, the amusement park offers a slice of New England history and features a variety of rides (including an old-fashioned wooden roller coaster) and games, promising a fun time for all.

Each attendee must buy an individual ticket online in advance, but please register so we know who’s attending. We’ll meet near the front entrance at 3:00 pm.

If you’re in the Boston area and need help with transportation, let us know when you register, by Monday, August 17, and we’ll get in touch about possible carpooling options.

Inclement Weather
Unless the park closes for inclement weather, we’ll be there rain or shine. But if the park closes due to weather, you can apply your ticket to a different date. Check the website before you head out. If possible, we’ll try to reschedule the group outing.

Location:

Canobie Lake Park
85 N. Policy Street
Salem, New Hampshire 03079
