Description

Philly Food Adventures Early Dinner Experience: Chinatown

Thursday, October 22, 2026
4:00 – 5:30 pm

A true Philadelphia experience, led by Jamie, a former food blogger and small business advocate. This tour highlights the local businesses that make Chinatown special! It is described as ideal for anyone who wants to experience Philly beyond the usual takeout spots.

Jamie will lead our walk around Chinatown, where we will be sampling food from several different places and eat streetside while learning about the neighborhood. Rain or shine, we will meet at 10th and Arch, which is close to Jefferson Station (Regional Rail) and the 17 bus.

Cost

The cost is $60 per person, which includes all food (enough for a full meal). Beverages are not included. The tour runs about 90 minutes and includes 5 different stops where we will eat streetside while learning about the food and neighborhood. We will pay our tour guide individually and in advance. Jamie’s Venmo link will be shared with registrants.

This event is organized by the SSP Philadelphia Area Engagement Committee and is open to everyone. SSP membership is not required.
